South Florida
is a destination soaked in sunshine and seafoam, a dream come true
for many who see it as the ultimate place to call home. What many
think of as the advantages of the good life are part of everyday
existence in South Florida: Warm, languid days, Gulfstream breezes,
swaying palms, miles of beaches, warm turquoise waters. It’s
an atmosphere that encourages one to linger, to appreciate nature’s
bounty. Outdoor activities are inextricably tied to the Florida lifestyle,
whether it is golfing (over 1,000 courses throughout the state),
yachting, sport and deep sea fishing, snorkeling, tennis, polo, long
lazy walks on the beach (1,300 miles of coastline), or gardening
in a climate where the growing season virtually never ends.
South Florida is not simply a tourist destination. It serves as a
hub of global trading with the Caribbean, Central and South America.
The state is home to food processing, printing and publishing, transportation
equipment, and machinery industries, and produces citrus, vegetables,
nursery stock, cattle, and sugarcane.
South Florida is also characterized by its cultural diversions: Opera,
theatre, ballet, museums, indoor and outdoor performances, multi-cultural
and theme festivals, and some of the best shopping in the world along
famed Worth Avenue.
Florida is seeing a massive period of expansion with multi-million
dollar developments of luxury hotels, convention centers, theme parks,
restaurants and nightclubs, shopping centers, entertainment complexes,
and, of course, residential development.
From Jupiter Island to Palm Beach to South Beach to Key West,
we live in possibly one of the most exciting and beautiful destinations
in the entire United States. The influx of families wishing to
live the South Florida lifestyle has resulted in a varied and rich
selection of family communities, beachfront condominiums, urban
lofts, townhomes, deep-water access at the back door, tree-lined
fairways, waterfront estates, private island communities, activity-
and amenity-rich developments, and quiet neighborhood homes.
With so many choices available, it helps to have an experienced,
well-versed guide when seeking to purchase South Florida real estate.
